Our Process

These are the processes Bnode, a Huddersfield Google Ads Agency, follow when we set up Google Ads PPC Campaigns for our Yorkshire-based clients:

Discovery

Discovery meeting to find out exactly what you want to achieve from your Google Ads Campaign and who your main competitors are in your local area or wider West Yorkshire / Yorkshire and Humber region.

Competitor and Keyword Research and Reporting

We then go away and research your competitors to see if they are running Google Ads Campaigns too, and what keyword and search term opportunities there are, and which ones you can be competitive for in the Google Ads marketplace.

We use a variety of tools to do this, including MOZ, SEMRush, Google Search and in-built Google Ads planning and forecasting functionality.

We’ll look at your options for geographic targeting in Yorkshire too – from hyperlocal geographic targeting (such as a sandwich shop in Huddersfield targeting potential customers within a one-mile radius at breakfast time or lunchtime, or a tourist-focused shop in York who want to attract visitors within the city walls) to broader geographic targeting of urban or rural districts across West Yorkshire and beyond.

Strategy

Once we’ve done all of the research, we’ll come up with a cohesive and comprehensive strategy, including the best type (or types, if there’s more than one viable option) of Google Ads Campaign to implement.

Whether you’re looking to increase footfall to your shop or venue, selling goods and products online, a manufacturer or service provider looking for new B2B customers, or a charity looking to increase your donations or volunteer numbers, there are effective strategies, tactics and specific Campaign types to implement that will meet your key paid media PPC marketing aims and goals.

Proposal

We’ll put all of the information into a proposal, get it to you, and get you to sign-off on the course of action.

If you are also based in West Yorkshire, we are happy to travel to you and go through the proposal with you to answer any questions that you may have.

We’ll then get going with actually creating your new Google Ads PPC Campaign.

Deployment

The deployment phase includes actual Google Ads PPC Campaign, Ad Group and Ad creation – so, building your new Campaign, adding Budget and Geographic Targeting, with Ad Groups and Ads.

Essentially, putting all of the necessary structure, assets and resources in place.

We’ll take care of all of the Google Ads Account admin too.

Pre-flight Checks

Lastly, we make all of the pre-flight checks before your Google Ads PPC Campaign goes live.

Once we’re happy with everything, we’ll make the Campaign live and your Ads will start running within 24 hours.

Then, we either hand the Campaign(s) and Account back to you to manage yourself going forwards, or we begin our ongoing Google Ads Account Management.

Reporting and Support

If we are managing the Google Ads Account and Campaign(s) for you, we’ll report back to you regularly on Campaign performance and key metrics. Again, if you are based in Huddersfield, or close by in West Yorkshire, the we are happy to attend your offices each month for a short 1 hour meeting to go over our findings and plans for the upcoming months activities and growth.

This is monthly, typically – with the initial report coming after the first full active month of the Campaign being up and running, or as soon as there is enough data to report back on how things are going. Monthly reports follow on after that, on an ongoing basis (usually at month-end).

In the meantime, we’ll also keep you in the loop, and answer any questions or queries you have when they come up.

We’ll also regularly review and optimise the Ad Groups and Ads on an ongoing basis, based on how they are performing, over time.

The same applies to your geographic targeting – depending on how each target location is performing, we’ll tweak where your ads show and who they show to, to optimise ad delivery, click through rates (CTR) and Conversion Rates (CR).

Fully Outsourced Campaign Creation & Account Management

The full service. We take care of everything for you, including Campaign creation, location targeting, and all Account admin and management, on an on-going basis for as long as you need us to.

Campaign & Account Setup for Handover

The option for when you need Google Ads setting up but you want to manage it yourself, in-house or via an external VA.

Existing PPC Account Health Check

A full Paid Media performance audit of your existing Google Ads Account and Campaign(s). We’ll do a health check on the state of your existing Google Ads Account and Campaigns on a consultancy basis, either as a one-off or as part of an ongoing support package.

We’ll review everything and make recommendations on cost savings, improvements, optimisations and new features, before handing it back to you again to manage yourself going forwards (until you need us to do another audit and repeat the process).

We can provide you with a report and a list of recommendations and action points for you or your in-house / external PPC executive or VA to implement, or you can purchase credits for us to make the necessary changes ourselves.

We Worked With the National Space Centre

We worked with the National Space Centre from late 2023 to early 2025 and managed their PPC Campaigns.

The National Space Centre is a Leicester-based museum and educational resource that covers the fields of space exploration, space science and astronomy, plus a space research programme run in partnership with the University of Leicester. It is the UK’s largest attraction dedicated to space.
