Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
SEO: on-page and off-page strategies and implementation to grow your organic traffic, via Local Pack and wider search. Technical SEO services, consultancy and support from Bnode to help solve your problems and drive relevant and highly engaged traffic to your website and social media channels through organic search results.

I have wanted to get support with SEO for my business for a long time, and Chris came highly recommended by someone I trust. He went above and beyond in the initial keywords research and came up with some invaluable information. Overall the service has been excellent, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bnode’s services to anyone looking for help with their SEO.
Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO)
GEO: optimise your website to show up in AI-driven searches such as Google’s AI Overview at the top of search results. GEO and SEO play nicely together. They create content that is easily understood, by AI and humans alike. GEO and its associated techniques and best practice are specific to AI-driven search engines.

Easily understood content is great for Accessibility
Easily understood content is also great for Accessibility, which is – as you know – one of the things that Bnode specialises in. Both bring creating content that is engaging, easy to find and navigate to the fore – all of which are also key tenets of Accessibility and Accessible Websites.
GEO also plays nicely with Technical SEO, which is another key component of Accessibility and Accessible Websites.
Bnode provided Diverse Nation with expert guidance on SEO and delivered a thoughtful, data-driven market report that helped us better understand our customers and their needs. Chris is knowledgeable, responsive, and full of integrity. I can’t recommend Bnode highly enough.
Drive more traffic through AI Overviews
The simple fact is, getting mentioned in the AI Overviews drives more traffic to your website or socials.
You can and should optimise your content for Generative Engines, in the new age of AI-driven Search, because traditional SEO alone won’t cut it anymore. Brands must adapt by integrating GEO into their strategies to effectively capture and retain user attention on AI-driven platforms. And, increasingly, if you want to be present at the top of the search results pages, you need web content that is optimised for AI-powered search. AI Mode is the new default Google Search. So, if your web content isn’t AI-friendly, you run the very real risk of being invisible in search results.
If you want Bnode to help your business or organisation adapt to and thrive in the new AI-powered search landscape (and not get left behind), then let’s have a chat.

Chris and Bnode are a timely god-send to any socially inclusive, ethical business, entrepreneurial or community project. Chris removes the stress and anxiety of understanding and applying both SEO and social media marketing, helping me to reach my tribe.
Voice Engine Optimisation (VEO)
VEO: optimise for the top answer to questions via Amazon Alexa, Siri and other voice search enabled smart devices. Voice Search and Voice Engine Optimisation (VEO) could well revolutionise user interactions with AI search, which will be a massive Accessibility boon for blind and partially sighted users.

When we hired Bnode we had no SEO optimisation. Chris delivered an excellent service and really went the extra mile in explaining the changes we needed to make to optimise our website, providing a very extensive list of SEO terms and ideas for content for our new site.

SEO FAQs
On average, Bnode’s SEO services cost X.
Smaller businesses or organisations with localised SEO needs typically spend around £300 to £500 per month, but this depends on what your offering is and where you’re targeting (Huddersfield, for example), and the level of local competition.
Widen your desired target area coverage to Kirklees or even West Yorkshire and you’ll have to spend more to be competitive.
The cost of targeting the Yorkshire region or even UK-wide targeting will be much higher.
No – it isn’t dead, or obsolete either, but traditional SEO alone won’t cut it anymore. What worked back in the day is no longer considered best practice or even necessarily advantageous as far as your search engine ranking and showing up in the search engine results pages (SERPs) is concerned.
Now, you need to optimise your website’s content to boost its visibility in AI-driven search engines using GEO techniques and best practice.
Traditional SEO has not been replaced as such, nor is it obsolete, but AI-driven Search has meant that Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) has come to the fore. AI and AI-driven search has reshaped SEO.
So, if your web content isn’t AI-friendly, you run the very real risk of being invisible in search results.
Plus, Voice Search and Voice Engine Optimisation (VEO) could well revolutionise user interactions with AI search, which will be a massive Accessibility boon for blind and partially sighted users too.
Voice Engine Optimisation (VEO for short) optimises your website content to be the top answer to questions asked via Amazon Alexa, Apple Siri, Google Voice Search and other voice search enabled smart devices and search engines.
Zero-click searches have been a thing for quite a while now, and they are increasing all the time due to AI-driven searches that give direct answers to user queries.
The information you’re looking for comes up as a snippet straight away, as part of the search engine results page (SERP). You don’t have to click through to the website that the snippet comes from any more (unless you actually choose to do so afterwards as a follow-on).
That’s why it’s called ‘zero-click’ – because no click on the website link has happened and no visit to the site has taken place.
Say you want to know how many people there are in Huddersfield, for example. So you search for “what is the population of Huddersfield?” in Google.
Google shows you the actual figure at the top of the page (it’s 141,692), along with the following information:
“This figure is based on the 2021 census. The town is part of the Kirklees district in West Yorkshire.”
If that’s all you were looking for, you don’t need to follow any of the Huddersfield-related website links that appear beside and underneath the AI Overview (even though Google still lists them anyway in case you do want to find out more). Your search query has been answered with zero clicks.
Google Local Pack search shows three prominent listings for local businesses by default, and more of them if you expand the listings by clicking on the “More Places” button.
To show up in the Local Pack results, for Huddersfield say, you need to be one of the addresses Google deems to be the most relevant in terms of answering a local query – like Bnode for “accessible websites in Huddersfield” for example.
Essentially, your Google Business Profile listing (formerly known as Google My Business) needs to be fully optimised and you should have a few good Google reviews from your customers or clients in order to show up.
